Gordie Howe International Bridge – Canadian Port of Entry, Ontario
While working at AECOM, Ahmad played a significant role in the structural design and construction oversight for the Canadian Port of Entry (POE) of the Gordie Howe International Bridge, a major international border crossing between Windsor, Ontario, and Detroit, Michigan. The Canadian POE is one of the largest land border infrastructure projects in Canada, covering 130 acres and supporting passenger and commercial traffic.
Can POE includes 10 Facility Buildings.
Ahmad is the Engineer of Record for the Canadian Port of Entry Main Buildings and Site Engineer for all POE buildings.
